About Piemonte's Italian Delicatessen

Established in 1929 Piemonte's has been a Fresno favorite for decades. Specializing in sandwiches, sliced meats, house made sausage, single serving dinners and imported grocery items.

Located at 616 E Olive Ave, Fresno, CA 93728, Piemonte's Italian Delicatessen operates as an italian deli serving Fresno in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.

In Fresno, family-run Italian places are busiest on weekend evenings and around holidays, when reservations or call-ahead seating are worth it. BYOB is common at smaller restaurants in some states, with a modest corkage fee or none at all; the listing or a quick call will tell you. Wing-and-pizza shops across California do most of their business by delivery and price wings by the piece or in fixed counts, with sauce heat adjustable on request. Catering trays, party pizzas and sheet pies need a day's notice at most places, and more around big game days.

Hours are published for 6 days a week. The most common schedule is 10 am–6 pm. Note that it does not open on Sunday. Hours in the United States do change around federal holidays and long weekends, so a quick call before a special trip is sensible. You can reach Piemonte's Italian Delicatessen at (559) 237-2038; calling is usually the quickest way to ask about availability, prices or directions. Its website is piemontes.com, where you may find menus, price lists or booking options.

On Google it holds a rating of 4.7 out of 5 from 781 reviews, which is a strong result for an italian deli in Fresno and suggests consistent service.

Fresno is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. US addresses list the street number and name, then the city, state abbreviation and ZIP code, and Fresno follows the same pattern; a suite or apartment number such as Ste 200 refers to a unit inside the building. The map link on this page shows the exact spot.

I must say I have never had a bad sandwich from Piemonteβ€˜s. All of their sandwiches are done to perfection and far out beat any other sandwich place that I have had in Fresno. This includes Ikes, Subway, Jersey Mike’s, deli delicious etc. They have reliably delicious food with one exception. I tried the new lemon tiramisu for the first time and whilst being deliciously lemony it was almost inedibly sweet. If I were to change one thing I would definitely decrease the sweetness in the tiramisu. This is coming from an absolute sugar and dessert lover believe me I adore something sweet and have an insatiable sweet tooth. That said for the lemon tiramisu it was just too much. I’d love to try it again if they change the recipe. With that little note aside I would like to say I highly recommend coming here if you want a good vibe and a good meal.

What a welcome surprise. I stopped in to see what was happening. I ordered a sandwich and was pleasantly surprised. Very fresh, extremely delicious, lots of meat and vegetables, plus reasonably priced. Everyone working there was very police, helpful and friendly. There is a little eating area outside. Definitely a good place to start eating out again. ❀️

I have never been here before and I ordered the spaghetti 🍝 it was delicious it just needed a piece of French πŸ₯– bread to make it complete. When I went back the second time I ordered the ravioli and lasagna they were both delicious πŸ˜‹. I will definitely be going back again to try their sandwiches and other items on the menu. Definitely a must try if you haven't like me now I'm hooked.

Piemontes never misses. Had the Michelangelo today a perfectly balanced sandwich packed with flavor and fresh ingredients. Paired it with a cold San Pellegrino, which made for an ideal lunch combo. Great spot if you’re in the area and craving a quality sandwich. Lunch rush gets busy, but don’t let the line scare you they move fast and the wait is absolutely worth it.
